The golf course at Totteridge traverses territory southeast of Pittsburgh that was once part of a land grant from William Penn. For nearly 200 years it was a working farm until Totteridge was created through the vision of one of golf's most prominent contemporary architects--Rees Jones.
Known as a "hands-on" creator of notable golf courses, and a master of restoration, Jones designs and restorations are found on the lists of America's 100 Greatest, and the Top 100 in the World. Totteridge fully reflects the Jones' philosophy of balancing classic design and respect for the land with an awareness of the changes in modern equipment.
Totteridge is links-style layout that stretches from 5,483 to 7,368 yards and takes full advantage of the rolling hills and breathtaking vistas. The lay of the land contributes to multiple elevated tee boxes and natural fairway mounding. Even with the presence of tall fescues, selective bunkering and lightening fast greens, the course is well suited to all those who love the game.
"Totteridge flows naturally over a dramatic site. The high ridges and deep valleys provide a diversified layout and striking views of the Pennsylvania countryside. The layout has a variety and balance of holes that will ensure that every round will present new challenges and shot decisions." -Rees Jones
